To the Church of God, we are commited to translating sound doctrine articles, sermons, audio and video productions to and from several languages in order to provide the Church with resources to face this time of apostasy.

What we are and what we do
We are commited to translating sound doctrine articles, sermons, audio and video productions to and from several languages in order to provide the Church with resources to face this time of apostasy.

We would be glad and blessed if you join us in this journey. What we need to do is transcripts, translation, proofreading, subtitling and publishing of videos, audios and articles from Ministries that have been selected (they have their own category at the forums) and some others that we are to select upon deliberation.

What we need members to be skilled at
•Transcription: This is the making of a copy (written) from a media, audio or video, for the purpose to make translation easier.
•Translation: Having the contents of a communication from one language to another. We are starting to translate from Spanish to English and viceversa but we are looking to have more languages inlcuded in the projects.
•Timecoding: Creating the position markers that indicate where each phrase (subtitle) should start and finish.
•Subtitling: Adding to a video the written translation at the bottom.
•Audio/Video Editing: Modifying or re-arranging the original media (audio or video) to fit a certain requirement, like having a different lenght, format and appearance.
•Proofreading: Reading to find errors (and suggest correction). This is perform after both, the transcription and translation activities.
•Publishing: Downloading/Uploading media (Pending, some issues must be solved).
•Dubbing/Lectoring: (Pending).

What is the next step?
If you know you are skilled at one of these activities and you are willing to spend a fair amount of hours every week in order to help with projects, and if you abide with our Statement of Faith, then go ahead and sing up to become a member at our Community Network.

Con la Iglesia de Dios, estamos comprometidos en la traducción de artículos, sermones audios y videos de sana doctrina de y hacia varios idiomas para proveer a la Iglesia de recursos para enfrentar estos tiempos de apostasía.

Qué somos y qué hacemos
Estamos comprometidos a traducir artículos, sermones, audios y videos de y hacia diversos idiomas para proveer a la Iglesia con recursos para enfrentar estos tiempos de apostasía.

Nos alegrará y seremos bendecidos si te nos unes en esta jornada. Lo que necesitamos hacer es transcribir, traducir, revisar, subtitular y publicar videos, audios y artículos de Ministerios que han sido previamente seleccionados (cada uno tiene su propia categoría en los foros) y de otros ministerios que iremos seleccionando, previa deliberación.

Las habilidades que buscamos en los miembros
•Transcribir: Hacer una copia escrita de un medio, sea audio o video con el propósito de facilitar la traducción.
•Traducir: Pasar el contenido de una comunicación de un idioma a otro. Iniciamos con la traducción del inglés al español y viceversa pero estamos buscando incluir más idiomas en los proyectos.
•Timecoding: Crear los marcadores de posición para indicar el inicio y fin de cada frase a ser subtitulada.
•Subtitular: Integrar en el video la traducción escrita en la parte de abajo.
•Editar Audio/Video: Modificar o alterar el orden del medio original (audio o video) para adaptarlo a un cierto requerimiento, como duración, formato o apariencia.
•Proofreading/Revisar: Lectura para encontrar errores (y sugerir correcciones). Esto debe realizarse después la transcripción y de la traducción.
•Publicar: Descargar/Subir los documentos o los audios y videos (es necesario afinar este punto).
•Dubbing/Lectoring - Doblaje/Narración: (Pendiente).

Siguientes pasos

Lord, I want to tell you that I need a lot of things. I want to tell you that what I asked for a month ago has not yet arrived. My throat has gotten better, thank you, but I wasn’t able to get a new car. And neither was I able to buy the new cell phone that I want so badly. But don't worry, I can wait eight more days. To Whom Be The Glory?

Many times we forget who is the author and sustainer of all that exists. The author of our life and of our talents. The author and consummator of the faith —Christ Jesus. We come to think that we are the important ones. Truly, society, culture and this “postmodern age” bombard us with the idea that we are the center of everything and that outside of oneself, the importance of other people and of any other being (God himself) is relative, because nothing matters more than satisfying one's own needs of pleasure and well-being here and now. And so we go through life, as the center of the universe, individuals and mankind as a whole, dedicating ourselves to giving first place to man and paying homage, and honor, and glory to self and to those we admire.
